Riverview South, a luxury Coop, sits on the East River Promenade boasting breathtaking views and luxury amenities. The building was originally built in 1951, is 15 stories and has 183 residential units. FirstService Project Management was hired to revitalize the façade by repairing it and replacing lintels. Additionally, we restored the balconies and re-caulked the windows to keep property value up and improve exterior aesthetic.
Keeping cost in mind and remaining within budget, our team was able to offer Riverview South significant cost savings through our industry relationships, reducing the overall price by $162,000. Our ‘value engineering’ expertise also saved another $50,000 for the building, as we were able to determine a scope of work that phased certain elements of the project out in a more cost-effective way.
